Four Month Check-Up

Went to the doctor today. Fiona is 14 pounds, 1 ounce and 24 inches long. She has reached all the appropriate milestones for her age and the doctor is very impressed with her - wondering if she might be an early crawler.
It was cute, Fiona loves to sit up and even stand with support. So the doctor was checking Fiona out and sat her up to listen to her lungs, etc, but when the doctor layed her back down, Fiona started fussing and pulled her head up like she was trying to sit back up. The doctor remarked that Fiona likes to sit and pulled her back to a sitting position. But then Fiona straightened her legs suddenly, catching the doctor a little off-guard, laughing the doctor stated that Fiona is a still a little unsteady sitting down. So I explained that actually Fiona wanted to stand. The doctor picked her up to stand on her feet and Fiona was happy as a clam. Guess you had to be there, but it's funny to watch someone "official" interact with your child and "misinterpret" her actions.
The doctor was totally amazed with our EC progress and asked us to explain how it works. Cuz we got to the doctor's and I took Fiona right to the bathroom. She was dry and I pottied her, then we went and did the whole measure and weigh her thing and I stood around, in my work clothes, holding a naked Fiona in my arms, without even worrying that she might pee on me (or worse). She made it through the whole doctor's appointment without one mishap. (which is much better than the time we took her to the doctor and she not only peed while on the baby scale, but took a pooh, too!)
